Wireless Alarm System Receiver

Wireless Alarm System Receiver is add-ons that are used with hardwired security panels to allow them to interface with wireless devices. Once a wireless receiver has been installed, the hardwired system will be able to use wireless sensors as part of its setup. Check out the wireless receivers from Alarm Grid. Wireless Alarm System Receiver may be the most important peripheral you never knew you needed.

For those unaware, these simple electronic devices separate radio signals from one another and convert specific signals into audio, video, or data formats. Wireless Alarm System Receiver are designed for use with control panels that support an RF receiver connection via the remote keypad connection points. If the specs size up, the RF receiver (depending on the model) can add wireless capability and range to any control panel.

Wireless motion sensor alarms are commonly used in homes or office premises as a security protection device. As the name suggests, an alarm is set to turn on, when the device detects the presence of someone (human or animal) in the range of the device, when they shouldn’t be. Wireless Alarm System Receiver movement or motion of the intruder is detected by the sensor and the signal is transferred to the alarm section for warning the concerned person about the threat.

Wireless Alarm System Receiver Passive sensors use infrared energy to detect the objects in its field of view. Passive devices does not have a transmitter nor a receiver. Wireless Alarm System Receiver device does not emit radiations, but only absorbs the ones emitted from the object. More of this type will be explained in one of its applications – the PIR sensor. Wireless Alarm System Receiver provides a convenient and economic way to alert you the moment when someone is approaching your home before you see them.

When movement is detected, the PIR sensor sends a signal to the receiver unit from up to 100 meters away. Wireless Alarm System Receiver can pair with up to 50 sensors, giving the ability to secure a large area. We offer many combinations of sensors and receivers, so simply select the system that best fits your need.

Don't mount the PIR sensor in direct sunlight (as PIR detects moving heat sources) or in a place affected by wind. When installing outside, it's best to mount in a shady, protected place with minimal changing temperatures. Also, avoiding mounting on UPVC or metal door frame surfaces which may reduce transmission range.
