This kit includes five dual-band 802.11ac Wave 2 access points, each of which can be discreetly mounted onto a wall or ceiling to transfer data at up to 2333 Mb/s over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Both of the 240AC's Gigabit Ethernet ports support 802.3af/at power over Ethernet, allowing you to transfer both data and power over a single cable, which can be passed through to IP cameras and other devices when connected to a compatible switch.

Alternatively, you can power the access point with a separately purchased PoE injector. Up to 50 (25 recommended) access points can be used to create a mesh network that operate using a single network ID (SSID) and password. Each 240AC access point also supports up to 25 Cisco Business mesh extenders to maximize coverage, providing users with smooth experiences as they browse the internet, watch videos, and more while moving from one location to another.
