The 48 Port Loaded Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) is a sophisticated and versatile solution designed to manage and organize high-density fiber optic connections in telecommunications and data network environments. With a capacity of 48 ports, this ODF provides an efficient and scalable means of handling fiber optic distribution and patching.
Constructed from high-quality cold-rolled steel or aluminum alloy, the ODF features a durable powder-coated finish that ensures resistance to corrosion and wear, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. It is available in standard telecom gray or black, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into existing network infrastructure.
The ODF’s modular design includes separate compartments and slide-out trays, facilitating easy access to fibers and connectors for maintenance and installation. It is equipped with integrated cable management features such as rings, guides, and rear cable entry ports, which help to keep the fibers organized and protected. Bend radius protection is also included to prevent fiber damage.
Optically, the ODF delivers high performance with a maximum insertion loss of ≤ 0.2 dB per connection and return loss values of ≥ 45 dB for PC, ≥ 50 dB for UPC, and ≥ 60 dB for APC polish. It supports both singlemode and multimode fibers, covering wavelengths from 1260 nm to 1650 nm for singlemode and 850 nm to 1300 nm for multimode, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of optical systems.
Designed to operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C and to handle humidity levels up to 95%, the ODF is built to withstand various environmental conditions. It complies with industry standards such as Telcordia GR-326 and GR-449 and is RoHS compliant, ensuring high quality and environmental safety.
Installation is straightforward with a 19-inch rack-mountable design, and the ODF can also be configured for wall-mount or floor-standing applications. It features front and rear access doors with secure latching mechanisms, and an integrated grounding bar ensures proper electrical grounding.
