Fanvil i66 Face Recognition Door Phone

The fanvil i66 face recognition door phone is a commercial-grade IP door phone with built-in face recognition technology. It is designed for multi-apartment communities, office buildings, and hotels where biometric access control is required in a more compact panel format. The i66 shares the same core access control architecture as the i67 — including dual 2MP cameras, anti-spoofing liveness detection, six door-opening methods, and ONVIF Profile S — but uses a smaller 4-inch IPS screen rather than the i67’s 7-inch panel. The physical panel dimensions are identical at 300 × 115.6 × 33.2 mm, and both models use the same EX103 flush-mount accessory.

The key difference between the fanvil i66 and fanvil i67 is screen size and working temperature range. The i66 operates from -40 °C to +60 °C — a significantly wider cold-side range than the i67’s -20 °C lower limit. This makes the i66 better suited to outdoor deployments in cold climates where temperatures regularly fall below -20 °C.

  • Security integrators working with existing NVR infrastructure — ONVIF Profile S and Open API connect the i66 to third-party VMS platforms and building management systems. SIP 2.0 over TLS integrates with existing IP PBX and UC infrastructure without additional gateways.
